Swear to God Again
I'm pleased to see that the Anti-Defamation League has weighed in on Dennis Prager's assertions regarding Keith Ellison's intention to swear his Congressional oath on the Koran.
I take credit for noting independently that this issue goes to freedom of religion. I note I completely forgot that the Consitution forbids religious tests for holding office. (And here is a little comment on that enlightened principle.)
Incidentally, the first sentence of this entry may be the most convoluted sentence I've ever written. That's saying something. I consider it some sort of breakthrough and I decline to edit it for comprehensibility.
